Reason:

Furson (FA username foxgear) doesn't have a character named Foxgear, his main character is named Gear. Also, FA user foxgear has other characters. (Currently foxgear tag is type character.)

however I don't see Senshi included on any of the pieces of art
and doing FA search for "Gear" and "Senshi" results in only 42 matches,
compared with 1249 matches for "Foxgear".
I'm not disputing character's full name may be is Gear Senshi,
I'm just saying most uploads at FA will probably just link to FA:foxgear and not mention "Gear Senshi". (edit: and his model_sheet just says "Gear")

Disambiguate foxgear tag into tags such as Gear_(foxgear) ?

EDIT: The tag alias foxgear -> foxgear_(disambiguation) (forum #260979) has been approved by @Rainbow_Dash.

The foxgear tag has been used specifically to mean the gear_(foxgear) character, but disambiguation wouldn't do much harm I guess. +1.

It also helps if you fill out the disambiguation page.

Is a disambiguation really necessary?

If foxgear is specifically the character, then posts should just be retagged with the proper gear_(foxgear) tag. Since the other characters aren't Foxgears the character, they would be tagged under their own names, perhaps with _(foxgear) if they have names the same as other characters or things (eg. aurora_(foxgear). Raeg would only be tagged as such when it's obvious the image was of him and not Gear, or the two characters would be tagged together if there's enough of Gear visible when Raeg manifests.

If the foxgear tag itself is a problem, it could conceivably just be aliased to gear_(foxgear) or just simply kept on top of by any user who wants to keep an eyeball on it.
