Doesn't seem like this one fits.

It's a little vague what does and doesn't count as presenting hindquarters but I have a feeling that at least some of these shouldn't apply

Those all look like hindquarters to me.

would a serpentine character or another character that dosn't have (hind) legs be presenting_hindquarters if they were presenting_anus? also do remember that we have characters with weird anatomies on here, so that has the potential of complicating things further.

There could be cases like darryus mentioned, or specifically framed images where the rest of the butt isn't really shown, while the anus is very close-up and in focus (possibly even in an inset panel with the character pointing at it, or spreading it, I haven't found an example of that, but it's a possibility), technically they could fall under presenting hindquarters, but it's stretching the term a little, if you ask me.
