Radiation lasts a long time though, and the timeline split occurred after WWII, so they know how long it lasts. There's also that 15 Megaton explosion that went off before even that which, even in real life, is STILL radioactive.

I love the greenery mods though. Seeing life go on without humanity at the helm was honestly more impactful and somber.
@kamimatsu: Radiation isn't permanent, the Enclave's plan was to just wait inside their bunkers until it's gone, then repopulate the then empty earth.

@Chameloshi: The vault experiments were to help the Enclave learn how people would react to scenarios involving prolonged isolation as they survived in orbit. The Enclave only existed to protect themselves from nuclear war; they had no motive to start it.
@Chameloshi: I've heard theories that the aliens you meet in FO3 Mothership Zeta are the ones who started the war.
@Chameloshi: You could ask Mr. House. He knew enough to predict the time they'd drop within an error of less than a day. He probably knew who was behind it. He also knew enough not to apply for a spot in any Vault.
Fan Theory Time: What if Vault-Tec were the ones who helped kickstart the Great War in the Fallout series? They needed a justifiable reason for unknowing people to willingly enter their vaults so they can perform their experiments, after all.

That's at least how my relationships have been successful. I've been myself and just came out with my feelings. Social anxiety sucks big time, so I can understand being calm might be tricky, so maybe try meditating a bit before you message them.
Just stay as calm as you can be. Say something like "I have feelings for you" or maybe "so do you have feelings for me?" Or maybe "you'll date anyone that asks a question?" Just try and stay calm is the key. Being yourself is another main thing.
Alabama governor declared a state of emergency sometime yesterday cus of severe weather predictions all over the state, I guess he wanted to nip it in the bud in case of a repeat of the 2011 super outbreak.
