@garfieldfromgarfield: Yea, the time-limit in the later games can be a bit punishing. Until you get the hang of it, then it just becomes a fun challenge. I got 100 points on the first level (first non-turorial) on my first try, though that's probably just because I've played it a lot in Katamari Forever already. And of course I got 120 in the tutorial 'cause I'm overly pedantic. And gotta take that perfect+ whenever possible

beautiful katamari was my first katamari game. maybe i was too young to play well but i remember it being notoriously hard. i couldn't get past the second or third level

    Beautiful Katamari is like, a solid 8,5/10. Katamari just naturally starts as a 10, but the asymmetric sticks just feel... odd. It also has that terrible hot/cold level, but other than those things it's Katamari/10 and I think I've already blown through a big chunk of the levels...

    Really wish Discord was like e621 in that they actually source offending material/message as a reason for warning. How am I supposed to know what it was I post that was bad?

    Finally got my brand spanking new copy of Beautiful Katamari, two days late because Postnord couldn't get a small flat package in my mailbox, even though the last package I got was a stack of books, which they got in there just fine. But their incompetence can hold me back no more, time for some fresh Katamari!

    ...as soon as the disc drive will do its job anyway

    Oshit you can install games on the console itself. Doesn't help much with getting around the wonky drive, but good gosh it's so quiet. I can actually hear the tv over it now

    Is it just me, or does it feel like a lot of pictures have had their number of likes... removed over time? Like not disliked, just lowered likes. I swear that before this most recent server move, a lot of posts I saw in the past had way more likes. Am I going mad or is this somehow a thing?

    It could just be me, but I think the disc drive in my 360 is getting better. Who knows, maybe it just needs some time to get back into the swing of things after having sat unused for years

    Was outside of a Walmart and two older folks were tossing coins at pigeons. The birds were eating the money.

    that's too bad. though the one we went to is at least an hour away, so i guess they're specific to certain parts of town. usually there'll be a plaza full of asian grocery and department stores. i think it's pretty cool

    oh that reminds me!! i went with some friends to an asian market yesterday and stocked up on a bunch of snacks. we ate at the food court, and i got shrimp dumplings and daikon cake. i also got some rose boba tea and tried red bean taiyaki. it was great!! there was a tiny little shop with a glaceon plushie in the window and i wanted to go in so badly but we didn't get the chance...but it was otherwise a great day!! i bought some lychees but i didn't know they're only in season in the summer...still very good though! a very mild sweetness.

    Yoinked some big rubberbands at work today since they were just gonna get thrown out otherwise, figuring they could come in handy some day. Then I realised that I could use one to hold the little pin in place, so my chair is now all properly fixed without risk of anything falling out again. I think. I did it today so I'm gonna take a few days to observe before I declare it completely fixed
