I'd say it's mostly his attitude over it and all of his 'work.'
He's just a flash-tweening artist, but the way he'd explain it to you, he's the one true god's gift to the entire artistic community.

The work itself was mediocre, but he doesn't care.

But I really don't pay attention to all that lore and drama, I just notice the work, and his work overall is good, even if people would consider it trivial to make.
