The most DISGUSTING thing has happened to me today. I was thirsty and wanted to quench my thirst on milk. Took a huge swig on a gallon and immediately spat it out in disgust. I looked at the expiration date: April 30th.

Now I've lost my appetite.

Those sort of things are indeed disgusting. To my surprise I once bought an expired carton of chocolate milk and like you took a good swig of it. Those usually expire within a few months so I did not bother to check the date.
