as of the last couple of days, the tags for twilight_sparkle_(mlp) and judy_hopps have reached a population difference lower than 1024 posts. at the current rate of growth (+5.1 vs. +8.9 posts per day), twilight_sparkle_(mlp), the reigning largest character tag of the last twelve years will be dethroned before Christmas.

correction, I mistyped a number when calculating the date: March next year. although in reality, I wouldn't be surprised if it did end up happening before Christmas...

the current distance between the tags will be more or less halved by mid-October. by that point the release of Zootopia 2 will be looming just over a month away, so let's check back in then and see how the rates have changed leading up to that.
