I'm nearly out of drinking water. Normally I'd just boil the tap water but I don't really trust it anymore after the algae/moss thing. There's a lot of football fans outside on my street and I'm honestly very scared to go anywhere. I haven't had dinner either.

It really does feel like I'm in early game Project Zomboid just holed up in a house with the windows and doors blocked.

you could go all the way and just distill the water. although, you'd need to jury-rig a distillation setup. also, the additional cost of actually boiling all the water into steam.
