Isn't it funny how even the holiday cheer is now used to show where you stand and how virtuous you are. Winter holidays were meant to bring people together, now it's yet another way to keep them divided.

I mean, using religion and religious traditions have always been the prime method of creating these kinds of mass-scale toxic in-group mentalities. it's nothing particularly new to randomly point at something that's not even remotely negative and say that anyone who does it is evil and/or hates you (and also the same thing for people who are doing the same thing you're doing but in the "wrong" way).
