Unfortunately it throws you to the front page after clicking, instead of continuing to the page you were trying to go to. It also causes uploading, replying, and editing to fail. As bad as CAPTCHAs are, I've run into it far less and it's never done that.

    What you can do is hit the back button, and open up a site link in a new tab to solve the CAPTCHA. That way you can at least save the comment or forum post you were working on.
