This tag is used when a character in the post is wearing a strip of material around their wrist.

If it has a buckle, it's a wrist_strap.

Common forms of wristband include:

• a silicone wristband, produced in many colors and often with words or symbols molded or pressed into them,
• a sweatband made of terrycloth, used to absorb sweat during exercise or sport, or worn for fashion,
• a hospital wristband, used for patient identification,
• an event wristband, for showing legitimate entry when attending sports events, music festivals, etc.
