Alexstrasza is the Dragon Aspect of Life and was given her tremendous power by the Titans of old as a gift for defeating the proto-dragon Galakrond. There are a total of Five Aspects and Alexstrasza is considered chief among them as the Titans also crowned her Queen of the Dragons.

Alexstrasza has two primary forms: An enormous Red Dragon and a humanoid form bearing characteristics of the High Elves/Blood Elves of old, though much taller and more imposing than the average elf.
