Ark: Survival Evolved

Ark: Survival Evolved is an action-adventure survival video game developed and published by Studio Wildcard. Launched June 2, 2015 on an Alpha build for the PC Windows platform the title is planned to be released for Linux, Windows, Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Mac OS X by June of 2016.

The game concept is a straight forward survival/base building title with the added twist that a variety of prehistoric creatures roam about. These creatures can be tamed and raised or hunted for experience and resources. Additionally most all of the creatures can be saddled and ridden into combat, using their own attacks in battle. While the basic story has a prehistoric feel players can eventually begin crafting more and more complex components for themselves including refrigerators, guns, and generators.
