Joshua Elmwood is an original openly gay Filipino/Canadian Bernese Mountain Dog character by the artist Wilsondoggo64. He is a 20-year-old college student studying agriculture at Everdale University. He has a chill, laid-back personality (only accentuated by the fact he's a pot-head) yet is a surprisingly good listener and advice-giver when needed. He is a Filipino immigrant with a style based on 1970s American culture, along with his family and their household. 

He lives with his mother Eleine, father Lincoln, and his two little brothers, Jason and Jaxon in Luttsville, Canada, along with his bloodhound boyfriend Wilson Sawdemayer, and their mutual friends Terry Cooper, Marshall Hartman, Paul Allen, Nelson Zhang, and lastly his personal friends Goldie Simmons and Allan McKay.

He is often depicted as a typical 60s/70s pothead/surfer (due to his love of both extracurricular activities) in the way he dresses, the scenarios he's drawn in, and his overall personality. He's often either paired with his boyfriend Wilson or with either of their various mutual guy friends during one of their many shenanigans/hookups.
