Mega Man Star Force (known as Shooting Star Rockman in Japan) is a followup to the Mega Man Battle Network series, set 200 years in the future. It stars Geo Stelar, a young boy depressed by the disappearance of his father. He is visited by the alien Omega-Xis, who fuses with him to grant him the power to defeat alien invaders known as EM beings whose powers are based on radio waves. Their fused form is, of course, Mega Man.

In addition to 3 video games, the series has an anime adaptation by the same name.
