The version of MegaMan featured in the Mega Man Battle Network series. He is an artificial intelligence program who traverses the cyberworld to deal with virtual threats. He was originally a human named Hub Hikari who died in infancy, but his father was able to grant him a second chance at life by incorporating his soul into the Megaman Navi program. His operator is Lan Hikari, who is also his twin brother. The two are sometimes able to engage in telepathy.

Megaman.EXE has a sleeker form than his main series counterpart, wearing a slim bodysuit rather than bulky armor. However, he retains his general appearance and other iconic features such as his arm cannon. Like his main series counterpart, he possesses many alternate forms, most of which involve fusing with other characters.

Megaman.EXE also features in the anime adaptation MegaMan NT Warriors, but he is not related to Lan in that continuity.
