Tome imps are a species of imps created by artist Huffslove for the comic series Tome of Imps. They are short, often between 2-3 feet (61-91 cm) tall, and are purple with long pointed ears, dark purple hair and a pair of horns. They are almost always naked, aside from golden bands, which can be worn on their ears, horns, necks, wrists, or ankles. When clothed, they often wear a dark purple tabard. Tome imps are horny, sassy, playful, and love to tease. They are well-adept in the use of magic artifacts, and will accompany people both on adventures and in bed, for as long as they feel like it.

Tome imps are formed when someone (who either has a mentality similar to the imps or has a desire to be one) has prolonged exposure to them, often through use of the Tome of Imps. Those who have been transformed will retain key features from their original form, such as hair style, glasses, and other accessories. While victims often retain their original gender upon transformation, some may swap genders. Transformations are reversible, but are prone to regressing back to imp form.
