The Librarian is a major boss in Tunic. He is a tall magic user who fights with powerful spells and a sword, and he wears a long black robe with a cape. His species is ambiguous, but appears to be some form of ungulate, as he has a long snout and large ears. His body is a dark purple-black and he possesses glowing red eyes.

The Librarian has a selfish and arrogant personality, and lures Ruin Seekers to his lair in order to kill them and steal their knowledge. Despite this, he is actually ignorant of much of the setting's deeper lore.
