Coalt is an original male anthro dragon character created by furry artist Rimentus. He is the protagonist of the Coalt's Patented Pants comic series, where he first appears on the cover page with Allie.

Coalt is a dragon with predominantly red fur with dark stripes, and a cream underbelly. He is a bipedal, furred, and wingless dragon, although canonically in the comic series, he has achieved a quadrupedal winged form with the help of the Ring of Potential inherited from The Wrathbringer.

On his face, he has green eyes, brown hair and horns. His teeth are white, and his spikes along his tail are also brown.

Coalt has above-average muscularity, and while he has high muscle definition, he doesn't necessarily have visible abdominal muscle, which lends to a softer look, fitting for a fluffy dragon. He has four fingers and three toes, all with dark claws and nails, respectively. He has a pink, ribbed penis and cream-colored fluffy balls.

Coalt has a voracious appetite, and he has occasionally orally ingested several creatures including kobalds and wolves. He has also been ingested himself by larger, winged dragons.

Coalt rarely wears clothes, especially shirts, so his torso is often exposed. He may be wearing pants, including his own custom pants with a backlace of his own design.

Coalt attended the Scale Academy, although because of his size and lack of wings, he wasn't a desirable candidate and was bullied in the past. He was assigned to work in security at the High Gardens as a bodyguard for Weavers. Years later, he took the knowledge of weaving from his clients and lived in isolation to design his own pants properly designed for dragons with thick, furry tails like Coalt's.
