Not to be confused with Aeon Calcos, an individual of this race who is often called "Lizardman".

The Lizardmen of the Soulcalibur franchise are a type of lizardman created by the Ares-worshipping cult Fygul Cestemus by forcibly transforming human warriors. Aeon Calcos was the first and by far most powerful, but many other individuals exist, most of which have little to no memories of their former lives.

Ones other than Aeon himself first appeared in Soulcalibur II as generic enemies, and the final unlockable character (only in international versions). Aeon himself was absent.

In Soulcalibur VI, lizardmen became available as an available race for custom playable characters. According to the in-game encyclopedia, females exist, though none have been explicitly defined and all created Lizardmen are treated as male by the game.

Other variants have been created by the time Soulcalibur V takes place, though these have only been seen in concept art.
