Species: wolverine
For the character, use wolverine_(marvel) instead.
The wolverine (Gulo gulo) is a carnivorous mustelid with a dark coat and a bushy tail. It resembles a small bear closer than it does other mustelids.
The wolverine is famous for its ferocity and strength out of proportion to its size, and ability to not only kill prey many times larger than itself, but fend off and dominate larger predators. They generally avoid brown bears, but cases of wolverines fending them off have been recorded.
The aforementioned Marvel character shares many traits with the animal, such as a small stature, ferocious nature, incredible strength, and a Canadian origin.
