An interjection is a word, phrase, or expression that occurs as an utterance on its own.
Used to express a spontaneous feeling, situation, or reaction, interluding their dialogue and/or absence of it. Use of interjections is diverse, taking the form of exclamations, insults, profanity, greetings, responses, or hesitation markers, among miscellaneous uses and combinations thereof.
