Pink Elephants on Parade is a song and animated sequence from Disney's Dumbo, in which the intoxicated Dumbo and Timothy Mouse hallucinate illusory, bubble-like elephants singing and dancing.
At the time of the film's production, "seeing pink elephants" was a euphemism for drunken hallucinations, succeeding similar expressions about "seeing snakes (in my boots)".
