Character: scp-5031
SCP-5031, a.k.a., "Yet Another Murder Monster" is an anomalous entity in the SCP Foundation Mythos.
SCP-5031 is initially described as a hostile non-sapient Quasi-Humanoid entity with the following traits:
- Abnormally small head with no discernible neck
- Elbows branch into three sets of lower arms each
- Elongated torso approximately 1.9 meters in length
- Pelvis terminates in a crescent-shaped protrusion of osseous tissue with a bladelike lower edge
- Levitates above the ground at a fixed height of 0.5 meters
When directly observed, SCP-5031 temporarily ceases to exist within this reality. While traces of its existence of its existence can be left behind like blood or scratch marks, SCP-5031 while looking at can not be seen, touched, or damaged and cannot be photographed or videotaped. When an individual stops looking at SCP-5031 it reappears wherever it disappeared.
SCP-5031's article describes how its Researcher Stanley Huxtable became concerned about its non-stop screaming and the ethics of imprisoning a sentient creature in a cube forever. In an attempt to calm SCP-5031 down and understand its psychology better, it was discovered that SCP-5031 had the personality of a human child and it could be nurtured to a state of higher intelligence, sapience, and amicability. It now cooks gourmet meals and composes Piano Sonatas for Bio Site-59.
SCP-5031 was written by PeppersGhost as a deconstruction of powerful generic murder monsters in SCP Foundation's History like SCP-096, SCP-106, SCP-173, and SCP-682.
SCP-5031 still has its original designation as Keter.
