Horse Race Tests (abbreviated HRT) is a series of video creations by X user Blake Andrews featuring crudely drawn horses bouncing around a maze as a competition of which one will get to the end first. They travel in straight lines until encountering a wall, in which they’ll bounce off in a random direction. The graphics are styled like Microsoft Paint, lending to its ironic humor style.

Shortly after it came out, it became the subject of memes and fan creations, becoming wildly popular among artist and internet meme communities. More tests have been posted, hinting at stories for the characters and them overcoming their shortcomings.
