SCP-001-WMDD, aka, "Project Palisade" is one of the many proposals for SCP-001 in the SCP Foundation Mythos.

SCP-001-WMDD consists of an anomaly and the method of its containment. First is SCP-3591, colloquially known as THE WORM. SCP-3591 is a weapon created by higher dimensional beings that circumvent the multiverse a weak projectile by the standards of said higher dimensional beings but utterly cataclysmic for lower dimensional beings within this multiverse. SCP-3591 fell into the main multiverse and began consuming realities.

The second major aspect of the proposal is the containment of SCP-3591: Project Palisade. In order to prevent the Foundation's reality from being consumed, SCP-001 was used to artificially create an infinite number of parallel realities and universe and then stack them on top of the prime universe. Using the realities as a kind of meat shield to protect the prime universe by feeding the worm. The ethics of the situation is however a point of contention, as the people within the alternate universes do not appreciate being sacrificed to the worm.
