"🎵Spill all the blood sworn to the night.
🎵Silence all prayers; smother each rite.

🎵Wander Shar's halls; hungry to slay;
🎵Leave no Justiciar alive to obey.

🎵Leave none to hear it, then be set free;
🎵This song is your oath, swear, swear to me."

Yurgir is a supporting character and potential ally in Baldur's Gate 3. He is an orthon, a powerful fiend specializing in stealth and ranged combat.

100 years prior to the events of Baldur's Gate 3, Ketheric Thorm was the governor of the Elvin Town of Reithwin and was a devoted Paladin of Selune, goddess of the moon. He lived within Moonrise Towers, a beautiful castle dedicated to Selune. When his wife and daughter died, he renounced his faith in the Moonmaiden and turned to her sister Shar, The Lady of Loss in the hopes that she would take away his grief and out of spite for Selune not saving his daughter. During this time, Ketheric was ordered by Shar to build an army of Dark Justiciars to plunge the world into eternal Darkness, constructing a training facility underneath Reithwin and destroying Selune iconography. The Selunites that remained loyal to the Moonmaiden were forced to either flee, die, or convert with one exception: Morfred, the Mason responsible for the construction of Moonrise Towers, attempted to assemble a resistance of Selunites. When, the resistance was all but snuffed out, Morfred contacted the fiend Raphael and sold his soul to the cambion in exchange for the latter wiping out Ketheric's Dark Justiciar Army. Raphael held up his end of the contract by making another contract with the Orthon Yurgir. The contract was a song, the lyrics of which are written above. Basically, Yurgir and his band of Merregon Legionnaires were to enter the Gauntlet of Shar and hunt every single Dark Justiciar. He was not permitted to leave the Gauntlet of Shar until after he killed every last one. Until he did so, the song would play over and over in his head and he would be forced to sing it randomly. If he tried to leave the Gauntlet before his work was done, his soul would become Raphael's property.

Yurgir is an Orthon, a towering and foreboding figure and a veteran of the Blood War. He speaks in a low rumble, his skin hard and red with three large sets of horns curling from the crown of his head. His face is angular, animalistic, and monstrous with tusks pushing out his lower lips and and scars all over his face. His forearms and shins are covered in chitinous scales that act as armor. He wears a cloak and codpiece made of various skulls.

Yurgir is a potential ally in the final battle of the game. He will be willing to aid the player if they help him break his contract and kill Raphael.
