Soft Vore denotes a vore scenario where a character is swallowed and enters the stomach with little to no major injury.

Important Note: A common misconception is that "soft vore" means "safe vore", however "soft" indicates that the character is ingested whole and alive - the prey character can still be digested or absorbed by the predator character. Compare endosoma and full tour which are safe vore scenarios where the prey character is not digested, and either lives inside or is later released from the body, or the opposite, hard vore, where a character is eaten in pieces or chewed.

As most vore content, regardless of the orifice used, involves prey being consumed whole, soft vore is not applied as frequently as the tags that denote specific types of vore (e.g. oral_vore, anal_vore, etc.).
