"Masculinization" is the transformation of a female-bodied character who is changed by an external force to become more stereotypically "masculine" and less stereotypically "feminine" in behavior, sexuality, appearance, or body. Often involving them taking on a more dominant role, having a more muscular body, more facial hair, more body hair etc...

Please note that this tag does not always apply to the first rule, as a male character may well undergo a transformation by becoming even more virile. (See 4th and 5th examples)

When a male-bodied character is made even more stereotypically "masculine" (generally involving an increasingly exaggerated body, degree of dominance, and sexuality) this is sometimes referred to as daddyfication.
