Dr. Breen's Private Reserve, written "Dr>Breens Private Reserve" on vending machines, or simply ">B" on cans, is the brand of a drink from Half-Life 2, manufactured by the Combine, named after Earth's Administrator Wallace Breen, and used as a propaganda tool. Vending machines for that drink are seen all around City 17. Like the water, the drink likely effects the memory of citizens. According to one, they put something in it to make you forget.

One of the first and most famous moments of the game involves a Metrocop purposefully knocking a ">B" can off a trash can with his stun baton and saying "Pick up that can.", followed by a "...And then put it in the trash can.". Once the player does so, the Metrocop says, "Alright, you can go." Followed by a short chuckle.
