Species: pyrenean ibex

The Pyrenean Ibex was a species of wild goat, and one of the only known recently extinct species whose decline cannot be directly attributed to humans, with the last one — a female named Celia — killed in an accident by a falling tree in January 2000.

It is the first species to have been revived from extinction, with a clone of Celia being born in July 2003. Unfortunately, this one only lived for a few minutes due to a lung defect, making the Pyrenean Ibex the only species who has gone extinct twice.
