An artistic shortcut where a character's head is drawn alone, as if it was not attached to a body. It's meant to be understood that their head has not actually been severed or otherwise removed. Often used to interact with other characters in solo focus images.
Not to be confused with:
- detachable_head
- floating_head, if the head is not visibly connected to the body but both seem to function as normal
- severed_head
- sphere_creature
Note
When a picture contain exclusively a disembodied_head and nothing else, it is a headshot_portrait.
