Seed beads, also known as rocailles, are a type of very small beads, usually (though not always) made of glass and rounded in shape. They are used for a variety of purposes, including bead weaving, beaded jewelry, and as "spacers" between larger beads.
These beads are also frequently used by hippies in a style of jewelry known as love beads.
