An opening on a machine where gaseous byproducts or hot/cold air are expelled. This usually achieved by the use of an exhaust_fan.

Types

• exhaust_vent - A type of air vent designed to direct gas out of a structure or machine.
• exhaust_pipe - A straight or winding pipe system where gaseous byproducts are expelled.

Not to be confused with

• exhausted / exhaustion - A state of being tired due to overexertion.
