• this can apply to anon characters that are not overtly masculine in form
• obviously human figures/characters seen from a distance, making clear identification of gender difficult and/or irrelevant
• human characters that are partially or mostly off-screen, or where the viewer is given a human pov, but of a human with no visible evidence of their physical sex
• humans that are obscured in some way that prevents easy identification of their physical sex
