About Naming

The name 'Meruka' is a combination of the Japanese words for same(shark) and iruka(dolphin). The title of the model sheet post suggests that there were other options, Se'i. (サメ+イルカ=メルカ…｢ｻｲ｣ﾅﾝﾃﾅｶｯﾀ)

-kun(君, クン) is one of the suffixes. This suffix is an honorific title given to someone who is your equal or beneath you. It's usually used for Male. This is not a name, so it should not be used in character tags. There is a history of modifying tags for the previous reasons. (wikitionary link)

bamia's first upload on the Pixiv was the model sheet of Meruka.

We lost one variant with text, which should have been paired with this piece. There doesn't appear to be any special dialogue.

Meruka has a 2 dorsal fin, one is on the back of his body and one is on the back of his tail.
