Posthumans are any kind of species that are descended from humans that have gone through extensive biological changes due to years of natural evolution or extensive genetic engineering. As such most would probably be still humanoids though some posthuman species have anatomically diverged so far from their ancestors that they can be considered as another body type (like ferals or even serpentine for example).
