bento box

A bento box is the Japanese single-portion take-out or home-packed meal, often for lunch. Rather than referring to a specific food, this tag refers to a specific presentation of food. A traditional bento may contain rice or noodles with fish or meat, often with pickled and cooked vegetables in a box.

Bento boxes are often shown bundled in a cloth when homemade.
