A confession is revealing information that a character has been holding deep inside them concerning feelings that they have, or actions they have done. A character who confesses something typically is revealing information for the first time to another party. This is the primary difference between an admission, and a confession. An admission may be acknowledged multiple times, but a confession should involve admitting something that is not already known to the other party.
