Burning is the process of exposing an object, or character to an extreme heat source, or corrosive element. Burning is also the state of being on fire, or producing flames.

Be careful about using this tag in situations that aren't producing a visible flame. Some examples are better tagged as melting, especially for images involving corrosive elements.

A character breathing fire, or manipulating fire is not an example of burning. Flaming anatomy is better tagged as flaming instead.

For a wound caused by burning, use burn instead.
For a character reacting to being burned, use burning_sensation instead.
