The P.R.O.n-01 is an addon for a pokéball that allows a pokémon to be partially released.
The Pokémon inside sees a holographic rendering of the released portion of their body, while their actual body interacts with the outside world. "P.R.O." stands for "partial release orifice", and when installed, the completed device is referred to as a P.R.O. pokéball.
