Nyxie are an original species created by Smooshkin.

Nyxie are equine-resembling aliens from planet Nyxiom. Their technology and physiology is defined by their connection to the Nyxiolite crystals found on their world. Nyxiolite occurs as a crystalline core in their horns and releases a colored mist.

Very political, they form clans and countries to which they are loyal, but place high value on trade, culture, art and beauty.

Not to be confused with the nixie, a water spirit of Germanic mythology.
