When a character has their ear to the abdomen of another character, clearly listening in; alternatively, this describes a character using a stethoscope or other equipment to listen to their own, or another character's belly.

Most often involves a character listening to hear fetal movement in a pregnant character's belly — but can involve a character listening to the other character's heartbeat, hunger related stomach growls, or the contents of the other character's stomach (whether that be food, or another character).
