Bloom is a lighting effect applied to bright, or glowing light sources to give it a more realistic appearance. Bloom can be identified by a blur effect around the fringes of a lit up region of an image or animation. Bloom is used in rendered content to enhance and imitate light filtering from one area into another area with a high light / dark contrast.

The lighting tag, and likely shaded too will almost always apply.
