Darkened penis describes a character's penis that is noticeably darker than the surrounding skin or fur, without necessarily being a distinctly different color. Hyperpigmentation of the anus and genitals is commonplace in real life. The color of the penis should be a darker hue of the primary or secondary body color.

This is commonly paired with darkened_balls.

Not to be confused with

• dark_penis - The term may overlap, but it is more generalized. This tag should be used if the penis is generally dark, or features a high contrast, but may be a distinctly different color.
