saberstaff

A lightsaber that is fitted with two emitters. Specifically, when both emitters are active, the whole apparatus is wielded as one would a staff or related polearm. Most famously, the sith Darth_Maul wielded this type of lightsaber in his battle against Qui-Gon_Gin and Obi-Wan_Kenobi in Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace.
