A darkner is any of the members or creatures that live in the Dark World in the video game Deltarune, as opposed to members of the Light World, aka the regular world. Generally speaking, darkners are animated objects, but their level of resemblance to their object forms can vary, so not all of them qualify as animate_inanimate. As of now, there are four regions in the Dark World that they inhabit, the Card Kingdom, Cyber World, TV World, and Dark Sanctuaries, with each introduced in their respective chapter of the game, but there will likely be more regions as new chapters are added.
