Call of Duty is a popular first-person shooter franchise published by Activision. Settings across its numerous games take place in wartime environments including [[World War 2], the Cold War, and futuristic settings as well. Players are able to experience the game through single player, or face against other players in online multiplayer. Most depictions of this game will be through its competitive multiplayer environments.

This franchise is well recognized by its cover art, which tends to get parodied with furry characters. The cover art is unique for each game allowing for more specific game tagging.
