A tag for visual displays that present a group of related options for which a user to choose from. These types of screens are commonly present in interactive media such as video game content, but may also be present in other media (e.g. scene select screen for an animation).

Select screens may contain visual options, or be listed in a text based menu format.

Not to be confused with

• menu_screen - A menu screen presents options in a listed text format, and these options tend to be unrelated, serving as navigation points within the software. If the options are unrelated, it does not qualify as a select screen.
