An emoticon is a depiction of an object, shape, or expression formed by using various text symbols and characters.

Japanese emoticons, known as kaomoji, incorporate unicode in order to capture more complex expressions or even full actions. This tag should be used when there is more than just the eyes or mouth present, or there appears to be unicode as part of the emoticon.

Types

• blush_emoticon - Any emoticon featuring blush lines (slash marks).
• heart_emoticon - A heart portrayed as <3
• wink_emoticon - Any emoticon that implies winking. These will typically feature a semi-colon (;).
